So Ilium Software has been serving up great titles for 9 years now! Check out their 9th Anniversary Sale going on for one day only, Friday June 2nd, 2006!
I’ll be picking up the NewsBreak software – a steal at $3.33 instead of the regular $19.95.
Sure, I sound like a huckster, but I’ve been using three of their other applications for a year now and only have positive things to say about them (ListPro, DockWare, eWallet).

Ah, another great phone is on its way to market – the i-mate Smartflip. The Wireless Report discusses what will be HTC’s first clamshell phone, and its a Smartphone based on Windows Mobile (naturally), and will inherit all the benefits of the Smartphone platform.
With EDGE support, a QVGA main screen, and a color external display – its shaping up to be quite a phone.

Pocket PC Thoughts is reporting PhatWare’s release of CalliGrapher 8.3. CalliGrapher is an excellent handwriting recognition application for Pocket PC. You can read the press release here.
This application has been around for many years, and comes highly recommended. Over the years the revisions have added numerous productivity enhancements. The recognition engine is the best in class, recognizing print and cursive writing.
If you are disappointed with the Transcriber handwriting applet that comes with Pocket PC, check out this great tool. It merges well with two other apps that PhatWare has – PhatPad and PhatNotes. Great stuff when combined together.

Over at Mobile Tech Review, they have a review of the HP iPaq hw6915 Mobile Messenger. Looks like a nice device, but the 240×240 resolution always throughs me off on these things. The new Treo 700p has a 360×360 resolution, too bad the Windows Mobile team didn’t see fit to work further on making the OS more resolution independent – maybe in the next version?

Our BlackBerry project at work is starting to make a little bit of headway on the “fun” meter. We just got in our first development device – a Cingular BlackBerry 8700c!
Too bad Cingular makes it super-difficult to link to specific devices on their website, so I’ll link to the actual BlackBerry page (here and here) instead.
