It looks like Microsoft Windows OneCare will be available in June for an annual subscription price of $49.95. Currently in both a private and an open beta test, OneCare is an all-in-one internet security product that includes Antivirus, Firewall, and Antispyware. In addition, automated backup and other system tuning tools are included to help keep Microsoft Windows PCs running at their best.

Looks like there will be a number of extremely interesting product announcements coming out of CES 2006 this week. I’ve been watching the Bill Gates keynote, and there has already been a number of details that I had been unaware of a few hours ago. Neat stuff! More details to come during the next few days.

Steven Bink over at Bink.nu posted news that Opera is not being actively pursued by Microsoft or Google. This is good news from my point of view – Opera has always had a great browser, and the market needs another browsing point of view seperate from Internet Explorer and FireFox.
