Well, I’ll be at the Connections 2007 conference next week. Hosted by Microsoft, Windows IT Pro magazine and Tech Conferences, Connections is a great networking resource for Windows, Exchange and Office technology professionals.
This particular event is being held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, FL. Should be a good time, as well as a great event. If you were interested in learning more about the conference, it’s three main focused specialities are Windows, Exchange, and Office. There’s also a developer based conference held separately a week earlier.
I’ll be blogging the conference while there, and of course, Twittering about things all week. All Twitters going should give a shout-out for a meetup at the conference one evening.
I’ll be going to the Windows Connections conference in April, which looks to be an interesting session on Windows Vista, Office 2007, and Exchange 2007. I’m also attending some SharePoint 2007 sessions that are being held pre & post conference.
It’s a 4-5 day conference, mainly for Information Technology professionals focusing on deploying technology within a corporate environment. But even so, it can be a lot of fun – the speakers are some of the best on their topics.
It should be a pretty great time – let me know if you’ll be there!
Yeah, why not blog about lunch. Cold turkey sandwich and a cookie.
The morning sessions was pretty good, the Vista/Office deployment features look like they’ll be usable. The Exchange Server Efficiency session was neat as well. We’ll have to include some of the topics they talked about, but we’re already on top of some other common items that you can do in 2003.
The afternoon session’s should be interesting as well; SharePoint, Vista/Office operational efficiency, one on Compliance, search, unified communications, data visualization, and project & portfolio management.
The discussion was fantastic in the depth of categories of technology covered. As usual, Bill Gates is a fascinating person with some great ideas of where technology is or should be going. Good stuff – and the best part being a short discussion of Bill’s fun with his Porsche 911 in Albuquerque in the late ’70s. 🙂 Also, if you haven’t seen Robert’s work at PodTech, you should check out his ScobleShow site – there is a lot of great information he’s got posted.
This morning, I’m at Microsoft’s office in Bloomington, MN for a seminar on remote access.
Should be a good session, covering different technologies to enhance remote access to corporate networrks.
I’m in early, hoping to get one of the 50 freebies that were to be given away, but looking forward to the information. From the handouts, it looks like we’ll be covering Citrix, Terminal Services, Security, SSL VPN (the best VPN for torrenting), bandwidth, and server management.
@MAC_Arms Pay taxes when you make your money, pay taxes when you spend your money, pay taxes when you successfully invest your money, pay taxes when you save enough taxed money to afford a house, pay taxes to live in your house, pay taxes when you sell the house that you paid taxes on to
Yup, taxes are criminal and we need serious reforms. I've always said that if you want to see a tax revolt, make withholdings illegal and have Americans write a tax check every payday. They'll revolt for sure. You don't miss what you never had.
Sen. @berniemoreno says voter ID and proof of citizenship are simply common sense.
“We’re talking about a very low threshold — identify who you are and prove you’re a U.S. citizen when you register to vote. I think we’re getting closer to
