Elevated SPAM Levels
This past week I’ve seen an increase in the amount of comment spam I’ve been receiving. There have even been some attempts to get them moderated or accepted as trackback comments. Ugh! Not real bad yet, but getting close.

I’ve been finding a lot of interesting stories and content today. There have been a number of links I’ve bookmarked that will be posted a little later. Several fun and interesting tidbits at the Connections conference here in Orlando as well that I hope to post on today or tonight.
Beware the fool
Just a friendly reminder to watch out for the annual jokes that abound on the first of April. I’ve already been lead down the golden path twice – and it wasn’t even 4/1 yet! Call me gullible.
There will be some whoppers this year in the blogosphere, so keep your eyes open.
Beautiful Spring Day in Minneapolis
We’re having a great spring day here in Minnesota. Could reach a high of 75 today! I highly recommend everyone get outside – even if you don’t have the chance, make one!

Offline Blues
My cable connection is down again today, not sure why and have not called in to find out. Frustrating – Charter seems to have these issues frequently, where Comcast did not.

Google Phone is Real
A Google executive has confirmed the existence of a Google Phone project. Some analysts believe this is a different project than has been reported in recent weeks, focusing on developing countries a viable affordable smartphone option.

More Computer Choices
Warner Crocker has a quick post over at GottaBeMobile showing two new Asus devices. One is a UMPC with a keyboard, the other, a new Tablet PC. Since I’m soon going to be in the market for a laptop replacement, I’m highly interested in a UMPC with a keyboard!
