		<description>but this post has given me the idea of using telegraph and twitter similarities .. and use it to give to my students as an assignment!! How does that feel... let me see mix n match old and new ways of communication. You had code at the same time, you have 140 character restrictions. thanks , Rick for the idea!!</description>

		<description>Moksh You&#039;re quite right - I came out of the telecomm side too back in the late &#039;80s pulling telephone &amp; fire system low-voltage cable. It&#039;s been a continuing fascination to watch the technologies evolve.

I can&#039;t help but look into the future and see great things. Mostly that all this great technology keeps getting easier to use, and more reliable at the same time. Exciting times.

There was the other time, when we were using pagers to receive messages and then you had the advent mobile telephony with voice and text based communication which actually killed the pager system.
