Wren, no you’re not asking too much. There are several phones that fit that description, but they all have their shortcomings too! I’m in the same boat really - my T-Mobile MDA is 2 years old and it just doesn’t meet my usage requirements any longer.
Options for me? iPhone, BlackBerry, HTC Tilt, HTC Touch Cruise, or Nokia N96.

Interesting info about Sync. I’m due for a new phone in a few months. My Razr is now nearly 2 years old and if I spend 5 minutes browsing the web, by the time I make another phone call it will be due to be charged again. I REFUSE to waste $$ on a new battery when I know I’m getting a new phone soon.
My dream phone would sync with my Outlook contacts/calendar, be wi-fi enabled, and allow me to upload photos to Flickr and geotag them as well. I’ve heard Helio ocean will do that last thing, not sure on that yet. IM and twitter functionality a plus. I suppose that’s standard on stuff. Since my Razr began dying on a daily basis, I rarely even try anymore. I’d prefer a full keyboard. Oh, and it has to hold a charge for more than a day with reasonable use. Am I asking to much?
