I won&#039;t argue about social media in business - it will have it&#039;s place, just at this time it solves little business need outside marketing.  Guess the key is that, as with other technologies, business will find where it fits into the needs of a given company, and as the Gen-Y crowd moves more into traditional business it&#039;ll find it&#039;s &quot;groove&quot;.

I like how you describe what could possibly be a bubble as an &quot;adjustment&quot; - that is probably a better description.  It surely won&#039;t be as nasty as the last bubble for a number of reasons, but will bring new opportunities.

		<description>Not sure if I buy the 5-yr phoenix cycle. I am also not sure if I agree that social media doesn&#039;t belong in the enterprise. It absolutely belongs there ... and I can tell you that people who 2 years ago would have said &quot;Huh?&quot; are now saying &quot;Hmmm.&quot;

It&#039;s very possible that an adjustment is looming, but I wouldn&#039;t expect it to be as gnarly as the last. The one that would be a lot worse is the dollar&#039;s collapse, so let&#039;s just cross fingers!</description>
