My Antisocial behavior

anti hero That is exactly what I’ve been exhibiting to my friends and readers.  It happens for a number of reasons, but mine is completely unintentional.

As I’ve alluded to over the last few weeks, there has been a lot of changes.  Moving, shortage of work, bloggers block, and the related stress of it all has kept me from posting anywhere near what I would like.

I’ve got a stack of ideas, but only recently have I had the inkling to really write on a more ‘normal’ schedule.  Of course, with the new consulting client, I’m going to be busier than I had been in September, but I’m less stressed for obvious reasons.

I’ll be working on posting when I can, sometimes during lunch and whatnot.  I’ve got some work to do at home with some virtual systems to support research for my clients, but will be working on writing as well.  Being busy is a blessing.

  • Rick, I wouldn't describe it as anti-social at all. The opposite in fact - I'd say you've been very considerate and open in letting people know that you're busy, or that you're having trouble getting the words to flow. I've admired the way you've kept on writing even when it's been hard - it's easy to do it when it's easy after all!

  • Connie, thanks for that - I do appreciate it. Sometimes I get more worried about it than I need to be.

Herb, I'll look for that soon - I to like interacting online with everyone, and am usually looking for more opportunities. Just haven't had the time lately.

    Later,

  • Rick -

To help get more social, do you know about the interactive community happy hour? Next Tuesday, NE Bulldog. I believe they have a Facebook group.

  • Hi Rick,
There's no reason to feel guilty for being busy! And life sometimes takes over. I've been incredibly busy over the past few weeks & totally lost my routine. Finding that balance again is important - but don't rush it. Life will work itself out.
And remember to enjoy the richness of life - time with your family, friends. We'll be here when you get back in the groove.
