  1. You’re completely missing the point. The price point on the iPhone is alot cheaper than a blackberry after a couple of years, since the blackberry is $10 more a month for unlimited data. Also as a multimedia device it pretty much kicks the butt of any “mobile” phone that plays music. In addition, for people who have invested in iTunes music (considering it is now the third largest retailer of music) the iPhone is the easiest way to get your music mobile with your phone that you carry anyways.

  3. Albert,
Thank you for your comment! As I mentioned, I’m not an “Apple guy” – I’ll admit to being a “Microsoft guy”… I agree, and disagree on a couple points, and wonder if it doesn’t boil down to personal preference and brand loyalty. While the new touch interface on the iPhone brings a whole new level of ease of use and interaction to the device, the iPhone does not bring any new “features” to the market.
True, the integration with iTunes is huge because of the installed base of the iPod, but as far as media-phones go, it has nothing that hasn’t been out there for years already.
You’re probably right about it being easy to use though, but it’ll be awhile for me to try that out – have fun with your iPhone!
